How do I register?
You can easily sign up on our event REGISTRATION PAGE. You will receive an immediate confirmation and we will send you more updates and information closer to race week!
What is the “5K In My SLIPPERS?”
If you do not want to participate in the race itself, but are interested in receiving both the race t-shirt and “swag bag,” you can select this option at registration. You would be able to pick up your packet as normal, but we’ll know that you are cheering us on from the comfort of your home on race day! 🙂
Where do I run/walk/roll for a virtual event?
You get to choose! We will have a temporary course set up at RIVERSIDE PARK in Evans, CO, very close by the Envision offices. Beginning Saturday, April 24th through Friday, April 30th you can use this course anytime when the park is open between 5 am and 10 pm. The route will be marked for both a 5K and 1K course. OR feel free to use your favorite route where you live!
Where should I park if I go to Riverside Park?
To be close by the start of the course at Riverside Park, we recommend parking in the regular parking lot at the end of Riverside Parkway.
How do I get my shirt and race packet this year?
This year we are recommending that you consider having your shirt shipped to you as the most low-contact option. If you do choose to pick up your packet, we will send you two time options close to race week when you can pick up your shirt and packet at the Envision offices at 1050 37th Street, Evans, CO. Please also note that registrations and t-shirt size change requests received AFTER FRIDAY, APRIL 9TH may result in not receiving your t-shirt until early May if we run out of your size before race week begins.
Do I need to time myself?
This year we are not asking anyone to submit a time, and therefore will not be issuing Age Group prizes either. We hope you proudly strut around the park or your neighborhood with your new race shirt for as long as you want! 🙂
What about the wacky shoe contest? What about my race bib?
If you’ve been to 5K In My Shoes before, you might have spent time with your friends creating a crazy shoe design to enter a cool contest. This year we are trying something new! Since you will not be asked to time your race, you will not receive a regular race bib with the fancy timing chip. Instead, we will be sending you a template to CREATE YOUR OWN BIB! We will ask you to take a picture and enter a CONTEST through our Facebook page closer to the race week. And yes, there will be a prize for the bib that gets the most “likes!”
Can I volunteer if I do not want to run/walk/roll?
Yes! We’d love to have your help with setting up and taking down the course at Riverside! Please contact Karen at email@example.com or 970-313-2602 if you are interested in volunteering. Spots may be limited due to respect for CDC guidelines for outdoor gatherings.
I accidentally selected the wrong shirt size when I registered. How do I get it fixed?
T-shirt size corrections can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please use the subject line “5K SHIRT CORRECTION” and be sure to include your name and shipping address in the body of the email. Please also note that registrations and t-shirt size change requests received AFTER FRIDAY, APRIL 9TH may result in not receiving your t-shirt until early May if we run out of your size by the start of race week.
