The 2025 Step Challenge runs alongside our 5K In My Shoes event, building momentum as we walk (or dance, or wheel!) toward connection, inclusion, and a healthier community.

So lace up, sync your step counter, and let’s see just how far we can go—together!

What Is the Step Challenge?

Ready… set… step! The 5K In My Shoes Step Challenge is a fun and friendly competition open to Envision staff, family, and friends! It’s all about moving more, supporting each other, and having a blast along the way. The challenge runs May 4th through June 7th. And June 7th, the race day is Double Step Day!

Here’s how it works:

  • Grab your crew! Form a team with your department, your family, or your walking buddies.
  • Choose your fearless leader. Every team needs a Team Captain to keep things organized.
  • Track those steps! Whether you’re strolling through the neighborhood, chasing your kids, or marching through meetings—every step counts.
  • Report your weekly progress. Team Captains submit individual step counts each Monday by 5 PM. (We’re averaging steps, so your team of any size matters!)
